The agreements that govern use of Remote Nexus by client companies and remote professionals.
Operator: Diaspora Digital Connect LLC ("Remote Nexus", "we", "us") — Sharjah Media City (Shams) Free Zone, UAE · Licence No. 2537637.01. Last updated: June 2026.
Remote Nexus is a managed remote-staffing and placement service operated by Diaspora Digital Connect LLC. These terms govern use of the platform by (a) client companies ("Clients") that wish to engage remote professionals, and (b) remote professionals / applicants ("Professionals"). By creating an account, submitting a form, or using the platform, you accept these terms.
We act solely as an intermediary that introduces, screens and helps manage remote Professionals for Clients. We are not the employer of the Professional and we are not a party to any direct employment relationship that a Client may form. Each engagement is governed by a separate written agreement; commercial terms (fees, scope, duration) are set in that agreement, not on this website.
All non-public information exchanged through the platform — business strategies, financial data, customer lists, internal processes, candidate profiles, pricing, and any files, chats or tasks — is Confidential Information. Each party (the Client, the Professional, and Remote Nexus) agrees: (a) to use Confidential Information only to perform the engagement; (b) not to disclose it to any third party; and (c) to protect it with reasonable care. These obligations survive for 3 years after the relationship ends. This clause operates as a binding mutual non-disclosure agreement between the parties.
We process personal data to operate the platform, match Clients with Professionals, and provide support. Information submitted through any form on this site — by a Client company or by a Professional — is used only to provide and manage our services. It is never sold, rented, or shared with external parties for marketing or any unrelated external purpose. We share data only with the specific counterpart needed to deliver the service (e.g. a Client viewing a Professional's profile), with service providers bound by confidentiality, or where required by law. We apply GDPR-aware practices for European Clients and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We retain data only as long as necessary for the service and legal obligations.
The introduction of a Professional to a Client is the core value we provide and is protected. For 24 months from the first introduction, neither the Client nor the Professional shall engage, hire, contract or be paid by the other — directly or through any third party, intermediary, or other platform — for the purpose of avoiding Remote Nexus, without our prior written consent and the applicable fee. This applies in both directions: the Client shall not hire or pay a Professional directly to bypass us, and the Professional shall not solicit, approach or accept direct engagement or employment from an introduced Client. Any attempt to circumvent the platform after an introduction entitles Remote Nexus to its fees plus reasonable enforcement costs and damages.
Pricing confidentiality. All pricing is set and communicated by Remote Nexus. The rate a Client pays is the Company's price; a Professional's own or desired rate is confidential, is not displayed on profiles or CVs shown to Clients, and must not be disclosed to or negotiated with a Client. Clients agree not to seek a Professional's personal rate in order to engage them outside the Company, and Professionals agree not to reveal it. This protects fair pricing for both sides and the integrity of the service.
Clients agree to: provide accurate company and contact information; use the platform and Professionals only for lawful purposes; not misuse, harass, or discriminate against Professionals; keep Confidential Information secure; and settle all agreed fees. Clients are responsible for assessing the suitability of any Professional for their own legal, tax and regulatory environment.
Professionals confirm that all profile information, CV, qualifications and the intro video are true and their own; agree to perform work professionally and on time; agree not to copy, remove or misuse any Client data; and agree to keep Confidential Information secure during and after any engagement. Professionals are independent contractors responsible for their own taxes and local compliance unless a separate agreement states otherwise.
The platform and profiles are provided "as is". While we screen and certify Professionals, we do not guarantee any specific result, output, availability, or continued performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remote Nexus is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for the acts, omissions or work product of any Client or Professional. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees actually paid to us for the engagement giving rise to the claim. Where a replacement guarantee applies, it is the sole remedy for an unsuitable placement and is defined in the separate engagement agreement.
The Remote Nexus name, logo, platform, design and content are owned by Diaspora Digital Connect LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission. Profiles and materials remain the property of their respective owners and may only be used within the platform for the intended purpose.
We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms, attempts to circumvent the platform, submits false information, or misuses the service. Confidentiality, data-protection, non-circumvention and liability clauses survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Sharjah Media City (Shams) free zone. The parties submit to the competent courts of Sharjah / the applicable free-zone authority, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights a user may have in their country of residence.
